Brittany Wenger, 17-year-old brilliant young lady from Lakewood Ranch, Florida, built an artificial “brain” to detect breast cancer! Her device accurately assess tissue samples for signs of breast cancer, providing more confidence to a minimally invasive procedure.
For her work, Brittany also took top prize in the 2012 Google Science Fair.
